You must first hit the start button on the controller at the very beginning to get to the menu. Then you must hit the select button to select the amount of players. These two button are located in the middle of the controller. Thank you.
First you need two players that each have New Super Mario Bros. 2, you both need to have it or it won't work so if you only have one copy of it just stop here you can't play it. If you have two copies of it then on the title screen select Co-Op Play, then choose your character (either Mario or Luigi). Do that on both 3DS's.
it isn't really multiplayer, just turn on two controllers. Player 1 controlls Mario/Luigi, and Player 2 just points at the screen and collects star bits. Sorry is you wanted real multiplayer.
If you mean on the Wii, go to exhibition mode and pick a field. To have player two play, press A and he/she can play on player one's team or on a different team. Have fun playing!
Just plug in additional controllers. When setting up your game, you should be able to choose the number of players.
It does not currently work.
