Under steering wheel to right is the lever.
If it is like a 1989 saab 9000, you remove the front passenger wheel, remove all the plastic from the wheel well, and the alternator should be rite there. You can also get to it by removing the manifold, which allows much easier access to the alternator, but then you need a new manifold gasket.
Under the steering wheel with a little black cap on it, just about where your knees would go!
You can not remove a power steering pump on your car and expect it to handle like a car with out power steering. Removing the pump will make it very hard to steer because the rest of the steering components are made for power steering.
Take the fuse out. or you can turn the switch located on the right hand side of the steering wheel, all the way to the left.
In my 96 900s its under the steering wheel; our models are basically identical so if it isn't there, i have no idea.
it's just to left of your steering wheel on the side of the dash . you'll see it when you open your driver side door.
Since you didn't specify, I will presume you mean the Classic 900 (1979-93). Remove the steering wheel, remove the knee pad under the dash. Remove the turn signal switch being VERY careful to note which wires go where otherwise you'll have a big mess on your hands. Remove the wiper/washer switch. There are four bolts that hold the collapsible cage for the steering column in place, plus the bolt at the bottom that connects everything to the steering rack. Be very careful in re-installing everything as the alignment on the cross member is critical. If you get it wrong, the replacement cage will break when installing.
900 or 9000? On the 900 (left-hand drive), the turn signal flasher is located just to the left of the steering wheel.
you must first remove the axle then watch some tv. then toast some lovely crumpets and tea with jam.
