how do you reset a fossil watch after changing the battery My experience with my Fossil Blue animated watch.
Remove the back by carefully unscrewing anticlockwise. There are two batteries; one for the animated display and a smaller one for the clock. The display battery is easier to remove by unscrewing the battery holder then remove the battery and replace with similar type (note the CR number). The smaller clock battery has a very very small screw holding the clip in place and is probably better changed by your jeweller. I almost cannot even see it!
To reset the animated display look for a contact marked "reset" and a contact marked "V+". Connect these together for about 1 second using say a paper clip. Remove and the animations will start. Screw back on the back cover.

To resize a Fossil watch band, you can either remove links or add a new hole to the band. Fossil watch bands typically have removable links that can be taken out using a tool or by visiting a jeweler. If you need extra holes in the band, a professional can punch them for you to adjust the fit.
