How do you reset your iPod nano?

It depends on what model you have. The more recent models for the Nano, Touch, and Classic is to lock the iPod and then unlock using that lock tab. Then press and hold the Menu and center button silmutaneously for about 6 seconds or until the Apple logo appears. Once it appears, release the buttons. It will take a few seconds for the Apple logo to disappear and for the iPod menu to come back up.

1. Toggle the Hold switch on and off. (Slide it to Hold, then turn it off again.)

2. Press and hold the Menu and Center (Select) buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears, about 6 to 8 seconds. You may need to repeat this step.

To restart an ipod, all you have to do is press an hold on to the play/pause button for three seconds, and when the screen turns black, turn the hold switch off an there you go!!
