When mature a male has a v shape of pores at the base of his tail, (underside) females don't.
Check a Vet,
They know Gender's for animal's, If they don't allow a leopard, You have to choose a good Vet, & a Leopard is a wild animal, I hope you find a place to check it's gender!

∙ 14y agoSexing leopard geckos is difficult when they're young. You can't really tell until they get older. If you flip it over onto its back and look at the base of the tail, you should see a "v" shaped vent. If you see to slight buldges above that, it's a boy. Chances are if you bought it from a petstore, it's a female. Since the temperature during the incubation period of the egg determines the sex of the lizard, usually the breaders that stores such as Petsmart and Petco get them from don't vary the temperature so they pretty much all come out female, with some exceptions.

∙ 10y agoLeopard geckos are sexually dismorphic by approxamitly 8 months of age. If the animal is much younger than this, the pores are visable in males. White scaled with a black circle in the middle of them as if they were pupils, above the animals vent.
