I have no idea how to treat mosquito bites, and I wonder if After-Bite, an ammonia solution, isn't harmful to puppies.
There are so many contradictory "mosquito remedies" online that I don't know what to believe.
Baking soda, vinegar (?), and/or some ice might be a natural remedy? Some sources say tea tree or lavender oil.
Supposedly, if the puppy is carrying heart worm larvae, the mosquito might incubate the larvae and later transmit infectious parasites into the puppy.
It sounds like HIV activating into the AIDS virus, but what makes the larvae mature in the mosquito carrying blood?
Dog bites: First, clean out the wound(s), stop the bleeding and bandage them.
Then contact the dog's owner to find if it has had recent rabies shots.
Next you should check with your physician about wound care; if the dog can not be found or the owner can not provide proof of rabies shots, ask your physician about further steps.
Putting ice on it will reduce the redness and swelling. It will disappear on its own in a day or two.

If it is a poisonous snake then take the dog to your Veterinarian immediately. Try to bring the snake's body too so it can be identified. The Vet will treat with anti venom serum plus steroids and antibiotics. It is imperative to get your dog to the Vet, do not try to suck out the venom, just go to VET! If it is a non poisonous bite and you are sure it is, then just treat as any other wound, wash it thoroughly with an antibiotic soap and put some sort of an antibiotic salve on it, do this everyday twice a day until healed. Do take your pet to your Vet if the bite area is not showing signs of healing.
Take the dog to a vet. If the snake WAS a poisonous snake, your dog may need treatment (anti-venim)
You really shouldn't worry about the snake bite unless you know what snake it is. If you are having trouble finding the snake that bit you're dog, do reseearch on snakes in you're area, or go to a pet shop for reptiles for help..
For ant bites, bathe the area with cold water to relieve swelling and irritation and apply sudecrem creme to all of the ant bites. If the bites are still troubling your dog the following day, you will need to see your Vet for treatment.

No. Heartworms come from adult mosquitoes through the BITE. Baby heartworms are injected with the mosquito bite and migrate to the heart through the blood system. So, while ingesting water with mosquito larvae in it will not give your dog heartworms, if they are allowed to grow up into adult mosquitoes, the adults may bite your dog and give it heartworms.
I'm not certain but I think the only way a dog can get heartworm is by being bitten by an infected mosquito. So the answer to your question is no but it is still wise to give your dog worming tablets which include heartworm such as advanticks. Hope this helped :D
