How to unlock unlockable karts in Mario kart wii?

You can only unlock karts, bikes, and characters in single player mode. you must do it in grandprix or time trials. there's no specific rule in getting stuff, i got a large bike after i beat mushroom, shell, flower, and banana cup, and one of my friends got a character named koopa troopa.

grand prix you can unlock stuff when you finish the first four cups that you start the game with and the last four cups that you have to unlock yourself. you can get more stuff after completing the cups by getting star rankings on the cups in each cc mode.

for time trials, you must beat staff ghosts. there are two ghosts for each race, and you must beat 26 second staff ghosts or something like that to get a pretty good medium size kart.

Yeah, and I unlocked most characters. You can unlock mirror cup by getting all I think 1 star in every race. I had mariokart wii a long time ago, but I can't seem to find where to buy it. Does any one know where? We've searched ALL over. K-mart Walmart, Game stores. Do they not sell it any more?

*Try to get first place in all races to unlock TONS of races and cups!!! 150 cc can get you more characters.
