Ok. so if you want to write a rap heres what i do.
1st. think of a topic.
2nd. make sure you topic is something people want to hear.
3rd. start writing rhymes based on that topic. (hint: when thinking of the hook try to make something that's gonna be stuck in peoples heads. That way they wont forget it)
4th. try to use slang words like for instant instead of sayin have to you could say haff to.
5th. once you got respectable lyrics take it to your local studio and put the track down.
(Hint: if you having trouble thinkin of a hook or a topic. You could either base it on life experience or try placing you self in someone elses shoe. how would that make you feel.)
Hip-hop songs are created by recording rhyming, rhythmic, half-spoken, vocals called "rapping" over a percussive backing track. The simplest hip-hop backing track can be created by a hip-hop DJ using two turntables with vinyl records (often 1970s funk, disco, R&B or other similar music) and a DJ mixer. The turntables need to have adjustable pitch (speed), so that the DJ can match the speeds of the different songs. The DJ mixer enables the DJ to switch between music or beats from different records, or layer the music or beats from two records. A simple way of creating a backing track is to find a percussive section of one record, and then use the mixer's crossfader to alternate this music with "percussion breaks", unusual sounds chosen from the record on other record player, or sounds created using hip-hop DJ turntable techniques, such as beat juggling and scratching. Some DJs also add electronic drum machine beats (usually a bass or "kick" drum and a snare), synthesizer sounds, and samples to add music and sounds the backing track. Occasionally, hip-hop songs may use regular instruments such as an Electric Guitar. Some hip-hop DJs also use CD turntables to add music and beats to the mix.
to write a rap song you have to rhyme the words of the end of a sentence like: i like cake, cuz imma a fake. Something like that, you do not have to rhyme every word at the end of the sentence but it makes more sense
