You need an Nvidia GeForce graphics card that is compatible with 3D Vision. You also need a 3D Vision or 120Hz monitor. They can be bought from Amazon etc.
You need to make sure your PC runs either Vista or Windows 7.
You then need a Nvidia 3D Vision Kit, that comes with a pair of 3D glasses and a sensor. It is best if your PC has 4GB or more of memory and has at least an Intel Core i3. You can get away with a Core 2 Duo, but it won't be as good.
The games that are 3D Vision ready are available to be used out of the box with no trouble.

You can use a 3d feature in computer by using a 3d accelerator.... 3D accelerator is just a software which would enhance the 3D quality of the graphics displayed in the game.... 3D accelerator processes the 3D graphics which the processor cannot fulfill to the cent percent... The processor cannot do so as the processor is also needed to run the back ground applications also...... You can also purchase 3D software such as Autodesk Maya, Lightwave 3D, ZBrush, etc.
because your computer hase no direct 3d device. you can download this software from internet.

2d games are just that, 2D. If you use a 3D effect then it should come out in 3D, yet the game-play play itself will stay 2D, but popped out.
