sup bro. peoples from the stone age used weapons like clubs, and sharpened branches, spears, to protects themselves, for food, to kill an animal and get its skin for clothing and the meat for food. and also later on when man discovered fire, the would use stones and rub them together really hard and really fast to make fire, and they would use the fire to cook their food.

Actually, that's not a very good answer, they used any rocks they could find and shaped them and yes they did use branches from trees but spears were more popular than clubs. Don't believe Cartoons.

anyway, stone age people splintered stones (carved ) into sharper stones making it more effective to use and kill animals. Choppers and Flakes were the most popular type weapons and it was called a STONE age because it was the time when people started using stones as weapons!
