Tutankhamun's tomb was discovered on November 4, 1922 in the Valley of the Kings, Cairo, Egypt. His tomb number is K.V. 62 and is the smallest tomb but the was the only one intact, therefore, making it the richest. It was found under the debris of the tomb of Ramses VI.
