There is no standard length for a 2 x 4. However the following lengths are readily available from most lumber yards and some home centers.
8' 10' 12' 14' 16' 20'
There are also pre-cut lengths. These are generally used as wall studs.
88", 92-5/8", 104-5/8"
The lumber sold as 2x4 is actually only one and a half by three and a half inches in size, because the measurement of 2x4 refers to the size before trimming in the lumber mill, which takes off half an inch on both sides. It is, however, possible to obtain lumber that actually measures two inches by four inches, if you want it. It costs more.

no what is the math
whats 2x4x6
its math its ez
A "board foot" is 1 inch thick, 12 inches wide, 12 inches long. A 12 ft 2x4 would be 8 board ft- 1/3 the width, but 2X the thickness.
A 2X4 would be a stud, not a board. Weight depends on the length and species, if it is pressure treated or not. 8ft. hem-fir 2X4 is about 8 pounds or so.
21 high 14 wide 294
2x4x20/12= 13.33 bdft.
a guy who put roller skate trucks on a 2x4 peice of wood
2x4's weigh approximately 1.21 pounds per foot. So an 8 Foot 2x4 = 9.68 pounds 12 Foot 2x4 = 14.52 pounds 14 Foot 2x4 = 16.94 pounds Just take 1.21 pounds times the length of the board and this will give it it's overall weight. This is for pine boards.

"2x4" is a way of measuring a board. If you were to be hit by a board, it would really hurt. "Divine" means coming from God, so if you were hit by a divine 2x4 then God was really hitting you hard. You might hear this funny expression to mean that God or Fate was trying to get your attention or that you suddenly had a great revelation.
Yes.
The width of the board may very. It depends on the board.
