i don't think you can live on the moon because it has no air and i don't think any body on the earth ever lived on the moon
*EDIT*
It's not currently possible live on the moon, however, one day in the future, it may be. Until then, we don't know for sure. There are many things we need to develop on Earth before people can live on the moon. For example, we have to generate our own gravity, as the moon doesn't have any. We need to be able to make something that will contain air that will keep us from being unable to breathe. We will need to be able to grow plants on the moon, I'm not exactly sure how we would go about that though. Those are just some of the examples. There are also many sociological, political and economical things to consider before people begin living on the moon.
However, living on the moon is much more practical than say, living underwater. :)
Hope that helped!

No because you need air to breathe and there is no oxygen up in space. That's another reason why when spaceships are up there the people inside them float there is no presure up there to keep you down on the moon. Also that's another reason of the people up there half to where space suits and oxygen masks.
50 ft of nylon rope
2 .45 caliber pistols
self-inflating raft
ten gallons of water
first aid kit
solar powered FM receiver-transmitter
stellar map
3 100 lb tanks of oxygen
solar-powered portable heating unit
food concentrate
parachute
one case of dehydrated milk
magnetic compass
signal flares
Here are 18 things you need
Only if they bring all of their food and air with them from Earth, as the Apollo astronauts did. Also, they need protection from the extremes of temperature and solar rays on the moon.
You would need oxygen as there is none there and you would need food. If you are stuck on the moon then those are the important items. You will need water. You need lots of rope
you would need: 1) h2o 2) o2 3) food 4) gravity
I will be careful to get plenty of fresh air, rest, and exercise, plus
three well-balanced meals a day, and I will keep in touch with my
friends and relatives back on Earth.
Wear a space suit.
first you have to get there...
You would need somthing
yes you can live on the moon today but you would have to have the right to survive the fridged weather and the no oxygen air
Because there is no food in space/the moon, and humans eat food to survive...?
If you weigh 60 pounds on earth, then you would weigh 9.8pounds on the moon, not counting the space suit, air conditioner, boots, air tanks, and all the other stuffyou'd need in order to survive on the moon.
there will not be a perminant base on the moon by 2020noI think there won't be people living on the moon probably there will be man kind still here in 2020 because in order to life on the moon you would need a spacesuit and a lot of oxygen tanks to survive on the moon.
You would need somthing
gusted on

it would need oxegyn tanks ,its water surplus, and its food...............if it eats.
Without Oxogen, No. You would need a special suit, the pressure in space would kill you. You would need to stay in the space ship.
You will need oxygen , food and water and a radio.
yahoo knows !
The moon doesn't survive, it's not alive. It's like asking 'what does a rock need to survive?' To continue in existence, the moon must not be hit by another large object in space.

Air, water, and food. Sorry, but that is 3 things.
oxygen
