It depends on the situation. Blood pressure can be measured on legs, not just arms. Often blood pressure is not measured routinely in patients where is it contraindicated (e.g. lymphadenectomy). In a critical care situation where it's important to obtain a blood pressure it is often measured centrally anyway, via insertion of a catheter into the heart.
By measuring pressure invasively, by penetrating the walls of the blood vessels or directly in the heart. Naturally, this is done in a hospital setting.

the heart is more closer to the arm than to the leg....more blood circulations happens/ appear in upper part of the body than to the lower part.but how come that some nurses took patients BP through legs? this actions can be done when the patients has amputed arms.
