Usually it comes up because someone didn't close the gas cap tightly (3-clicks!) and its not a big deal. Worst case you might have to replace the canister which is expensive. Sometimes a hose gets accidentally disconnected (or not reconnected) when someone does a sloppy air filter change. In that case, just reattached the hose and you should be good to go.
You can either fix whatever problem is causing it, or have it reset with a code reader. If you reset it with a code reader, chances are it will come back on.

This code is for the transmission The Direct clutch speed sensor. Have it tested most likely it has to be replaced. Had the same problem myself and managed to fix it by replacing the sensor.

Toyota has released a TSB on this . You have to take it to Toyota and have the catalytic converter replaced and the ECM reflashed. And if you have over 80000 miles on it, you also have to pay for it.
