If the engine swap is for the same type of engine then it is just a matter of removal then install of the new engine. If swapping for a different type of engine then the motor mounts, transmission, and space requirements as well as wiring may all have to be modified.
It is possible, some minor tweaking is necessary to make the engine mounts fit and also the drive axles but it is a fairly simple swap, you can even use the accent's tranny with the tib's engine. Also you will need to use the ECU that comes with the tiburon engine since the accent's ECU will not work with the 2.0 litre engine.
They are absolutly the same, you should have no problem at alla making the swap.
You need to swap the engine and the tranny, use the mounts from the engine mounts from the accent, but the top mount has to come from an elantra 1.8L also, use the computer and wiring harness for the 4g63t. I put a 4g63 in a colt, basically the same car, goes like snot!
While it is possible to fit a 2000 Elantra engine into a 96 Accent, some custom fabrication will be neccesary to make the engine mounts fit. You'll also need to swap the factory ECU with the Elantra's since they are not compatible and most of the electrical wiring plugs will not fit each other. The accent's transmission is fully compatible with the Elantra motor. Custom length axle shafts will be necessary also.
yes, i believe they are unchanged from 92-93 the 1992 Hyundai scoupe and 1993 Hyundai scoupe or quiet a bit different cars the engine in a 1992 scoupe was made by Mitsubishi and a 1993 scoupe had a Hyundai made engine alot of body parts are different also such as headlights ,hood ,taillights, and such .lots of the interior is the same though hope this helps
Vvl swap
Yes
No vehicle or engine type
yes because you can swap a h23 transmission onto an h22 engine
It would help to know what engine you're trying to swap in. Quite a difference between trying to swap in a newer engine of the same model and trying to swap in, say, a Chevy small block.
U can swap a turbo engine from japan that came in the blue bird which is called a altima in the US...
of course you can!
