However, if you are going to learn a trade there, do your homework and find out if you would be hire-able in that field and/or able to obtain any needed licensing. If you will be taking out a loan to pay for schooling, you certainly would want to be able to obtain a job afterwards. Although schools do promise help with employment, they cannot promise employment and you need to verify if their estimate of possible wages will match your needs. An example is the auto body school that my son went to: they told him to expect like 40K right out of school, or at worst in a couple of years. Three years later, he is earning $11/hr.
