It's normal. I'm 34 weeks along and mine is too. It's just from the pressure of the baby on your cervix. No worry's though , .. Doesn't mean the baby's coming or anything.
the liquid portion of ejaculation actually coagulates in the vagina for a short period of time to prevent leakage and allow sperm to get closer to the cervix, after a bit it liquifies again and then leaks out. it does not mean you're pregnant.
To measure cervical length during pregnancy, a healthcare provider typically performs a transvaginal ultrasound. This imaging technique provides a clear view of the cervix and allows for accurate measurement. A shortened cervix, generally defined as less than 25mm, can indicate an increased risk of preterm labor and may require closer monitoring or intervention. Regular check-ups and ultrasounds are essential for assessing cervical length as the pregnancy progresses.
At 30 weeks of pregnancy, your cervix may feel firm and closed, as it is still supporting the pregnancy. It should not be soft or dilated at this stage, as that typically occurs closer to labor. Some women may notice slight changes in texture or position, but significant changes should be monitored by your healthcare provider. If you have concerns about how your cervix feels, it's best to discuss them with your doctor.
The outer cervical os is the opening in the uterine cervix (the neck of the uterus) closer to the vagina. Its counterpart is the interior cervical os, which is opening in the cervix closer to the uterus.
Closed. It is one of the ways your body helps to protect your baby. The cervix only opens slightly to allow the sperm in during ovulation, then if pregnancy occurs it closes and what is known as a "Mucus Plug" fills in the rest of the gap. As the woman gets closer to delivery, one of the signs of early labor is when she loses her mucus plug.. that occurs when the cervix is begining to dilate. At full dilation the cervix is open only 10 cm. There is one caveat to this, sometimes the cervix is "weak" or "incompetent" when it begins to dialate BEFORE approx 36 weeks. In this instance there is a procedure available called Cervical Cerclage. It is when the cervix is stitched shut to prevent miscarriage or early delivery of the baby. for more info on this procedure please cut and paste this link. http://www.americanpregnancy.org/pregnancycomplications/cervicalcerclage.html
During ovulation. U can tell this by checking your cervical mucus and cervix position. Ur mucus will go from tacky and pasty to clear and slippery like egg white. You will be able to stretch it between about an inch before it breaks. You have to get this sample from your cervix. While you are there, check ur cervix. Before ovulation it is firm (like ur nose) and hard to reach. The closer to ovulation it will become soft (like your lips) and low.
My friend is 27 weeks and her cervix is also starting to thin. Her ob said it is likely she will deliver early. Her first baby was born @ 34 weeks but her cervix wasn't checked through that pregnancy so its hard to know if that is what happened in her first pregnancy as well. Her ob said she will probably deliver again aroung 34 weeks but hopefully closer towards 36 weeks. This doesn't mean it will happen to you. Get some expert advice from your ob or a midwife. Good luck .
That would really depend on the severity and type of the eating disorder. The closer to anorexia proper the woman is, the more likely she is to have problems during her pregnancy, and possibly miscarry.
A low placenta sac at 20 weeks of pregnancy, often referred to as a low-lying placenta, means that the placenta is positioned closer to the cervix than normal. This condition can potentially lead to complications, such as placenta previa, where the placenta covers part or all of the cervix, possibly causing bleeding during pregnancy or delivery. It's important for the healthcare provider to monitor the situation, as many low-lying placentas migrate upward as the uterus expands. Most women with a low placenta may still have healthy pregnancies, but close monitoring is essential.
id really depends. when the cervix opens, it is called dialating. for example, i was due April 19th. however, march 29th i was dialated to 3 cm. in my case, i had my baby that day because he was "frank breech" so they are to do a c-section. but some girls go weeks being 1-3 cm dialated, it just depends, and usually happens the closer you approach your due date :) hope this was helpful!
Well im pretty sure it has this on the actuAl stick but the line on the right is the control line, letting you know if the test is working correctly and the line on the right is the test line, if you have 2 lines then your pregnant, if theres only one closer to the right, tou are noy pregnant.
