If you'd like to go trendy, it seems like boys names ending in "en" are polular, such as Kayden, Brayden, Aiden and so on. Those names laso fit well together if you want the children's names to "match". For trendy girls names, the "K" names seem to be in, such as Kaylee, Kyra, Kinsey, Kendall and so on.
However, if you'd like to go traditional boys names such as Harry, Hunter, Jayson, Thomas and more have seem to come back around. For more traditional girls names, Emma, Laurette, Yvonne, Sophia(Sophie), Olivia and Julia are pretty.
In the long run, it is ultimately up to you and the babies' father. When my husband and I were naming our son there were times when I would see a name I liked, but it would remind me of someone else with that name, which I thought was a bad thing. I really liked the name Ashton, but didnt want to name my son that because I thought everyone would think of Ashton Kutcher. However, in the end I named him Ashton because I didnt want to allow what I thought others would think to affect my choice. Now he is two years old and no one asks me if he was named after Ashton Kutcher and I dont even worry about that anymore because Ashton is MY SONS name to me, not anyone elses. I am rambling, but my point is, if you find names that strike you and you love, dont listen to anyone else (or your own worries for that matter)......
