If your 1996 F250 XLT 3/4 ton pickup that is fuel injected dies suddenly and then does not restart for a few minutes, it is very likely that the distributor is damaged. This will cause an engine to quit suddenly and will delay the restart by about 10 minutes or until it cools.

1996 Honda prelude i turned it on this evening suddenly i tried to drive it it turned off and i couldn't start it on i charged my battery put it back on my car tried to turn it back on it sounded like it wanted to start but it wouldn't start then we tried to push it to start it and it wouldn't start it seemed like if the tires would lock them self when i tried to start it?

Some 250 bikes are not fuel injected. I am storing my cousins 250 ninja and I have the same problem. Come to find out, not fuel injected.
Does this vehicle have a carburetor or is it fuel injected? In any case start with looking for vacuum leaks.
