I have an 1986 Chevrolet C20 (longbed pickup, not Suburban) factory 454, 400 turbo, factory heavy duty emissions vehicle (oil and tranny cooler, HD steering stabilizer, HD springs, duals, no cats) and I tow my 12,000lb 42' bumper pull with the Equal-i-zer hitch and Prodigy brake control. It goes right on down the road at 5-6mpg.
