I have a Mystic ticket and a aurora ticket from a game shark on my FireRed Pokemon game but it will not take me to any new islands?

Did you show the tickets to the sailor who brought you to the SS Anne if not try that, if it still doesn't work try getting the national dex first or even better yet since you have a GameShark put the warp code in for birth island/navel rock to reach there even faster.
