Please don't try to do this. Tylenol (aka Acetaminophen) can be deadly; it's perfectly safe if you stick to the recommended dose, but the dangerous dose is only about twice this. The problem for you is this. 10 mL of pure acetaminophen would weigh a little over 10 grams; this much is about three times the recommended maximum daily dose for an adult. Obviously Tylenol 3 will not be pure, but to weigh it out you first need to find out how concentrated your stuff is, and then do some arithmetic. The only safe way is to do what you were told to do - give her 10 mL. If you have a pharmacist (UK=chemist) anywhere near you, he should be willing to give you a 5mL spoon free of charge. 2 of these and you have no possibility of mistakes. If it is currently night-time wherever you are you can give her one dose using an ordinary household teaspoon, but get a proper measuring spoon in the morning.
No, Tylenol 500 would be stronger than Tylenol 325. The ending numbers represent their milligrams. Tylenol 500 is Tylenol 500mg. Tylenol 325 is Tylenol 325mg.
That is 5,000 mg.
5 milligrams of oxycodone and 325 milligrams of Tylenol.
325 mg Tylenol (Acetaminophen) + .5 mg oxycodone = Percocet 5
Norco 10-325 contains 10 milligrams of hydrocodone (an opioid) and 325 milligrams of acetaminophen (Tylenol).
You need to state it's concentration before this can be answered
Grains are an apothacary system of measurement. This is not a brand of Tylenol but rather a measurement of how much drug is in the pill. A grain is approximately 60 milligrams. Grain V is the amount of Tylenol in each tab or caplet. The V is the Roman numberal for five. When you are using roman numerals if the numeral comes before the the unit (grain) it means subtraction. That is, if the V was placed in front of the word grain then it would mean one fifth of a 60 mgs or a tablet of approx 12 milligrams. If the V comes after the unit(grain) as in this case it means 5 grains of Tylenol or 300 milligrams of Tylenol.
A lot! Consider this: one Tylenol 3 with codeine contains only three milligrams of the drug. 3 milligrams is only 3/200,000 of 200 grams. I am a medical doctor but also take codeine for my Fibromyalgia. Tylenol 3 (generic is Acetaminophen with Codeine) contains 30mg (thirty milligrams) of codeine. 1000mg (milligrams) = 1 gram. which means 200 grams would be equal to taking 6,667 pills of Tylenol 3. This would kill any human no matter what the persons tolerance is.
Each tablet contains: No. 3 Codeine Phosphate...................................................................30 mg Acetaminophen................................................................................... 300 mg No. 4 Codeine Phosphate...................................................................60 mg Acetaminophen................................................................................... 300 mg
The numbers denote milligrams of medication. The 10 and 5 denote milligrams of oxycodone, the opioid analgesic in each. The 325 is milligrams of acetaminophen (Tylenol). Therefore, the 10 mg Percocet would be stronger.
You can take the 2 together without a waiting period. Don't take to many vitamins. Follow the directions as indicated. Don't take any more that 1,000 milligrams of Tylenol at one time. You need to wait 6 hours in between each dose of Tylenol. You can have 4,000 milligrams a day. You are safe to take the 2 at the same time.
