If you accidentally swallow a completely indigestible tiny object, it will pass through in your stool. How would a cherry remain in your digestive tract for that long? This kind of story may come from the fact that maraschinos appear to be all preservative and artificial coloring, and no cherry.

How long does it take gum to digest?

The folklore is that it takes seven years to digest gum. This is
wholeheartedly incorrect. Normally is takes 6 to 12 hours to digest
what's eaten but gum is composed of indigestible material. however,
it will pass completely through the digestive tract within 48 hours
after ingestion.
i learned that its a myth that it takes 7 years to digest gum
but some people still question that, the 48 hours is totally
true.

What do the seven spikes on statue of liberty represent?

I had akeays heard that The seven points or "rays" on her crown
represent freedom shining over the seven seas and the seven
continents.
But according to the Web sites of the National Park Service and
the Statue of Liberty Club. They say The spikes are sun rays, and
the circle is "simply a halo or what in art is called a nimbus,
showing she is divine."
I prefer what I've always heard. .
