There is no fuse, it is directly connected and when it burns out it destroys the wire harness. Found this out the hard way on my 07 Impala.
You need to get a special harness if you do not want to cut the wires. If you need have infinity system you will need a special harness (see the link below).

What year impala? For 2000-2004, the actual ground wire is Pin F on the heated seat relay driver (control module) located underneath the seat. That ground wire comes from the main harness coming from underneath the carpet to the seat, and ultimately ties into a body bolt below the drivers opening, rear of the left A pillar.
I spoke with a technician at Scosche 1(800)621-3695, and he said the wire harness that was needed is a GM07, there is no need to buy a $150.00 stereo wire harness, because the only bonniville's that support that harness were the 2005 and up models. just in case your wondering the dash kit model # is GM2049, that is for a 2000 Pontiac bonniville.
