Any time a food is changed from it's natural state it will have an ill effect on our health. Some foods like beans need to be cooked for us to be able to consume them but most foods are their healthiest when they are fresh and raw. Many so-called foods that are available to us in the market come in a bottle, box or can. These foods usually have chemical additives. salt and sugars and are processed with high temperatures that make them less healthful and often even dangerous. Some foods, like grains, have even had most of the nutrition taken from them. When we ingest these altered foods and chemicals our bodies try to protect themselves by coating our insides with mucous. As this mucous collects it becomes excess buildup. We get sick to try to throw off this buildup but the cleanse is temporary, not completely thorough and leads to degenerative diseases of all kinds.
