Can you pass a drug test if you just hold weed smoke in your mouth?

Hi,
So a week ago, I was at my friend's apartment. She had been smoking weed for about an hour prior to me coming over and the room smelled noticeably like weed. While I was in the room, she took a hit once but not any more than that. I have to take a drug test in a few days for a really important program which requires a clear drug screen and I'm freaking out that they might be able to pick up traces of THC from second hand smoke. Any help?
FYI I have never smoked weed before and did not get a contact high while at the apartment

∙ 12y agoeven if you dont inhale, THC and other cannabanoids end up in your blood stream, entering through capillaries in your mouth. while you will undoubtedly have a markedly lower THC content, you may fail a drig test up to one month after "just holding weed smoke in your mouth."

The smoke has to make it to your lungs to feel any effects, a very sensitive user MIGHT feel something from the smoke being in their mouths but it's probably because they actually inhaled it. To get high the smoke only needs to be in your lungs for seconds, but the longer it is held in the higher one will be. You just want the THC in the smoke to get into the blood, the longer you hold it in the more blood passes through your lungs where the smoke is. If it's good weed then you should be able to hold it in longer, bad weed should be held in as short as possible because it is mostly tar, basically just hold your breath for as long as you feel comfortable.

If you smoke meth, it will show up on a drug test. The way to pass a drug test is not to use drugs. Not smoking all the time will just make your drug test ... test positive for drug use.
