If i am getting 70 percent in math right now and the final exam is worth 20 percent of my final mark then what percent do I need to get on my exam to get atleast 80 percent as my final mark?

0.8 * 70 = 56 <--- that is your mark right now.
Lets say you got a 100 on the exam.
0.2 * 100 = 20 <--- add that to your current mark to get final mark.
56 + 20 = 76
So even if you got 100 on your exam, the highest mark you could get overall is 76%. Which isn't that bad compared to the kids in my class. :P
