The dorsal root is the part of the peripheral nervous system that picks up sensory signals and sends the signal through the nerve to the brain. If the root is cut, the brain will not receive sensory messages from that nerve, meaning the patient will have loss of sensation in that area (numbness, blindness, deafness, etc.)
The ventral root of the spinal nerve is mainly related to the motor system. if someone has a ventral root nerve cut, he might possibly lose the motor control of the muscle supplied by the cut nerve. Apart from that, depending on which level of the nerve is cut, one might also experience an autonomic nervous system problem on specific organ(s) innervated by the sympathetic chain cut, as the sympathetic chain is located in the sympathetic ganglia which is just beside the vertebral column, also formed by the preganglionic fiber that leaves the cord in ventral root and joins the spinal nerve.
Paralysis of voluntary muscles on the affected side; Sympathetic function intact. Paralysis of voluntary muscles on the affected side; Sympathetic function intact.
loss of sensory function
You'd probably become paralyzed.
loss of both motor and sensory functions
they would have a small chance of living depending on how it has been cut
The ventral rami of the spinal nerves carry sensory and motor fibers for the innervation of the muscles, joints, and skin of the lateral and ventral body walls and the extremities... So there would be some some loss of sensation and muscle function, but not total since the nerve bundles overlap at each level... There are also some autonomic nerves associated.

if its dead, nothing.if its alive, that leg will be permanently paralyzed.it wouldnt be able to jump highthere is no answer currently.it's speechWithout the nerve to activate the leg muscles, a frog could not walk, hop, or jump using the affected leg.jumpingIn any vertebrates, all coordinated response movements and actions would be disabled from the point the nerve was injured and down. Severed spinal damage will kill the animal.it would lose most of the ability to jump and if it were cut far enought the frog could dieno jumpit would kill the frog because if any nerves are cut it wount be able to do any thing
ventral root from the ventral horn of the spinal cord is motor. If ventral root is cut it will lead to to a kind of paralysis called flaccid paralysis. This is because ventral horn contains lower motor neurons. As such the skeletal muscle innervated by the root is paralysed
You would go blind, because the optic nerve would then be unable to transmit signals from the eye to the brain.
It cannot contract nor have stimulation. This is also known as paralysis. When a nerve is cut, it will stop sending signals to the brain. This will cause a loss of feeling in the area as well as stop the muscle from working. If the nerve is not fixed, it can cause a ball of scar tissue to form that may give you an electrical feeling when touched.the heart will shrink
They would be KILLED
We wont be able to walk properly and as the nerves are joined to the spinal cord the immediate action messages will take time to reach the brain and then there will be a problem in the proper functioning of the reflex action
Nothing would happen to its density.
You would die...
Is it bad to cut the saphenous nerve in the knee
