There is no positive and negative. There is hot and ground. The hot (120 volts AC) is in reference the ground (Earth).
In an electromagnet, the negative side of the coil is said to "emit" the magnetic field lines- it is the north pole of the electromagnet. However, in alternating current, the energized wire alternates between positive and negative. As a result, a conventional electromagnet running on alternating current would constantly be undergoing a reversal of the poles.
There is no positive and negative conductor. There are just two ends of a conductor, namely positive and negative. It is usually said that electricity flows from the positive to the negative side of a conductor, but scientists have discovered, that current consists of electrons that always flows from the negative to the positive side.
Strangely there is two directions it is said to flow. The first and wrong is conventional current that is positive to negative. WRONG. Several hundred years ago people guest Electron current is the direction it actually goes in. This is negative to positive.

The correct term is Alternating Current which AC stands for. So once you say AC you are saying Alternating Current. To say AC Current is to say Alternating Current Current.
Electrons do not flow, but they might be though of as 'flowing' as they transfer charges between them. The reason that electron flow is the opposite direction from current is that historical theories of electrical flow (current) treated it as a movement of positive charges rather than negative charges. There is no actual difference that could be discerned, except that we now know that negative charges (electrons) constitute the basis of most common electricity.
i can only answer what is negative it is said that the play is unlucky and is cursed!!
Negative is the current magnetic charge of the Earth's South Pole. But such has not always been the situation. Scientists suggest that the charge changed from positive to the current negative about a million years ago. At the same time, the North Pole's magnetic charge changed from negative to its current positive.AnswerWe do not describe a magnetic pole as a 'charge', and the terms 'positive' and 'negative' are not applied to magnets. Magnetic poles are described as being 'north' and 'south', whereas electric charges are described as being 'positive' or 'negative'.Having said this, it should be mentioned that people involved with magneto therapy do describe magnetic poles as being 'positive' and 'negative', but this is a pseudoscience and much of its terminology is nonsense.
Compound having any positive or negative particle are said to be charged particle . it is not so that there should be same number of positive or negative infact these are called saturated particle .an atom carring positive particle are called cationwhile negative particle are called anionby MK
An object with equal amounts of positive and negative charge is electrically neutral.
Positive = You really did it. False Positive = The test said you did it, but you really did not.
Electrical current in copper is the flow of electrons which are negaitve charge particles. In a typical battery, electrons flow from the negative (bottom) side to the positive (top, nipple) side. However, the engineering convention is to call the "plus" side of the battery the source so current is said to flow from the plus side to the negative side -- which is the opposite to the physical flow of electrons.
