∙ 2008-03-12 21:27:24This is just normal spotting. Spotting is when small amounts of blood mix with discharge, dark brown just means the blood is taking time to leave the body and thus is going brown. There's no reason to think that this is anything unusual.
All this means is that you're spotting. It's normal to experience spotting towards the end of your period, it's just where the uterine shedding is slowing down and the blood is taking longer to leave your body so going brown when old and mixing with discharge. Most women experience spotting.
Brown vaginal discharge can be related to your period, it's known as spotting and caused when blood mixes with discharge and takes time to leave the body (thus going brown). It can occur just before or after your period, light periods may be only light spotting like this, or brown discharge can be an indication of bleeding for other reasons like hormonal imbalance or ovulation spotting.
Towards the end of your period the bleeding will reduce, going from red to spotting (pink or brown discharge) until eventually there is no more blood and menstruation is over.
Getting on and off brown spots basically means that you're going to get your period very soon, and it is a sign and is called 'spotting' its basically like your vagina is telling you "Im going to start spitting blood out very soon"
Could be, but your spotting could also be your period. Go get a test to see if you are pregnant.
If you have a negative pregnancy test, you are probably not pregnant. What makes you think it's not your period? (ie. did you have a pos pregnancy test earlier?)
I would call you OBGYN ASAP! or even go to the ER> that could mean two things. Either your going to have your period during pregnancy or you are having complications..
Nothing is going on, you're spotting because your period is due.Your period is not so much late as just later than you predicted it would start - also remember that at your age irregular cycles are normal, things such as ill health or stress can delay cycles too. Spotting is normal when your period is about to start, all menstruating people experience spotting.
Hi. If you are pregnant, you need to see your Doctor or go to hospital to make certain you are not pregnant. Brown spotting can occur during early pregnancy and is usually harmless, but it is always best to be certain. If you are not pregnant, the brown spotting may be a urinary tract infection or a yeast infection, from recently stopping/starting birth control pills, recently taking morning after pill or due to your period about to arrive.
I'm not really sure I'm 11 and that's what I found in my underwear I told my teacher and she gave me and my friend a pad but if it helps mine was sort of going towards red so I'm kinda confused
