If you take your belly button ring that you've had for a little bit less than a year out will your hole close?

It depends on how long you've had it in. I got mine pierced about 3 months ago and had to take it out because the top unscrewed. The very next day when I tried to put it back in it was nearly all the way closed and I had to get it repierced.

I think I read somewhere that naval piercings heal extremely fast (sometimes in 20 minutes depending on the person) But if you've kept your piercing in for a year or two, then it will take a while longer for it to close.

Here is a rule to remember, "the longer you have the piercing, the longer the piercing will remain open if you take the jewellery out". That's about it the older it is the more "seasoned" the piercing will become and therefore less prone to closing when the jewellery is left out.

Probably not all of the way. There will always be a small hole but it will no go all the way through your ear lobe after a while.

Well it will over time, it needs to shrink then it closes this can take weeks to months to occur depending on the piercing.
