If you only smoked weed once a month will it show up in a hair drug test?

Hair test can go back as far as 90 days and are one of the more accurate, less invasive methods of testing for drug use. They are not affected by abstinence from drugs. However, sometimes they can reveal when you used it and the amount they detect can often lead to postulations about how much was used. Unfortunately, it still can be detected. I highly recommend using vaultsoferowid.com for all of your "drug" questions....literally ALL of them.

∙ 14y agoThe short answer is YES. This is because hair is not alive, it is a protein buildup which grows at the average rate of one half inch per month. Anything in you're body during the time of this growth will forever be detectable in that part of the hair.

Hair follicle tests are very inaccurate. They are susceptible to outside influence, such as if the individual is around people who smoke cigarettes, marijuana, or other vaporous drugs such as, crack, or speed, (Meth) though unlikely or rare test have even shown that passing individuals partaking such activities will result in a positive result for such substances. These types of test are meant to be sold to consumers I.e. Mom's and Dad's for profit not accuracy.
Mom, Dad, have a talk with you're kid if you're concerned and stick to blood and urine tests they are accurate... Well they are so long as you're kid hasn't been reading my other post in which the only accurate approach will be a blood test. Sorry to the kids of the un-trusting parents who make them face the needle. :(

If someone is on probation and they get drug tested once a month if they smoke the day they get the drug test but after will the next one show that you smoked if the next test is a month later?
