If we are speaking of the same pill, Lyrica, which is an anti-seizure medication, and now being used for the treatment of fibromyalgia, yes, you could suffer ill effects. The strongest effect could be seizure. When taking any medication you should consult your prescribing doctor before stopping. You're doctor will tell you the best way to stop, usually by decreasing the number of pills you take per day, then the dosage strength, and so on until you are off the medicine. In some cases, the doctor may prescribe a different med to help with other side effects when coming off a drug. Examples of some common effects when coming off of Lyrica for the treatment of Fibromyalgia could include numbness in the extremities, restless legs, irritable mood, and tingling sensations. Whether the drug is taken for FMS, seizures, or what not, this drug interacts with your neurological system. Its a pretty important body system, and I would not take any chances and just suddenly stop the Rx. My best advice is to contact the doctor who wrote the Rx and seek and follow whatever advice they give you.
