If you were around someone smoking marijuana but didn't smoke it yourself will you pass a hair follicle test?

You should do just fine. "Contact highs" are generally an urban myth. Just in case, a shampoo before the test should take care of any trace amounts carried in the air column. Bear in mind however that the follicle test can detect marijuana back as much as a month or more.

∙ 12y agoDepending on how much time you spend around them and how much smoke you breath in, i believe it 50 ng *Nano Grams* to be considered failing a drug test. so i would go out and buy a urine drug tester the morning after you hung out with them. if it test positive try to hang out with them around Friday night in order to have 2 days for the THC to leave your system.

∙ 14y agoIf the quantities consumed from secondhand smoking are big enough then yes, that can be detected. Typically, the precise quantity of THC can be detected as well so the ones conducting the tests can see the difference between someone who's been smoking and someone who's merely been exposed to the smoke.

∙ 13y agoIt depends on the temperature. Above a certain temperature THC might evaporate from the weed, and by inhaling you could get high. Therfore you could fail a urine test.

Unless the room is a total smoke screen the marijuana wont even register on a urine or blood test. The only way it sill get into your system is if you have direct contact. (i.e. you smoking the marijuana yourself)

This could mean they crash the car into a wall - killing both of you... or worse - crashing the car into another person - killing them ! If you travel in a car that you know is being driven by someone under the influence of drink or drugs - then you are just as guilty if the driver causes harm to someone - as if you were driving the car yourself !
