Yes & no. You can, actually, get mono more than once. Although not many people get it twice, you can & people do, so be safe regardless.
The law says no sexual contact with a minor. Do you class kissing (making out) as sexual ? if so then refrain from it to be safe from the law.
long answer short no
Once you have the virus that causes mono you will technically have it for life, but that doesn't mean you are going to have to give up kissing. There are many opinions on when it is safe to kiss again after being diagnosed with mono ranging from 2-4 weeks all the way up to 18 months (yikes!). My doctor has told me that anyone I am kissing on a regular basis has probable been exposed already. I would say a good standard would be 2-4 weeks after your symptoms subside.
I'm not enitrely sure but, I think you can't get mono from kissing someone who isn't infected. The big thing about mono is that it's contagious and it can spread quickly. But if you kiss someone who isn't infected, chances are that your not going to be infected either. If you think about it, if you don't have mono now and you've kissed lots of guys before who you know were uninfected then it's probaly safe to keep kissing. But if you do think you have it, it's safest if you go see a doctor about it.
No my Doctor has told me to avoid it//
no
yes.
It is not safe to kiss anyone - prostitute or not - if you do not know them personally or are unsure of their health status. There is always a risk of transmitting infectious agents.
It is no more or less safe than kissing anyone else.
A safe haven
Of course it is! I give my little ham-ham a kiss on his back every night before bed. :)
