A pale tongue is lighter in color than normal.
Irritation of the lingual frenulum is most often caused by direct irritation. The frenulum, that thin ligiment directly under the tongue, and that keeps your tongue from touching the tip of your nose, can be irritated by a dental retainer, a tongue piercing, an eating utensil or dental instrument.
It is possible for a person to touch their tongues to their nose. I have seen many people stick their tongue up and touch their nose. As for touching your tongue to your chin, I am sure that is also possible. I can do it and I have seen other people do it as well. So I would say that you can touch your tongue to your nose and your chin. That is my observation.

Yes, it is possible to have a salty flavor and a gooey feeling where the tooth was extracted, but my question is ... "Why are you putting your tongue there and annoying it!" Please don't.Rinse your mouth out several times a day with warm, salt water. Swoosh it around particularly where your wisdom tooth was extracted. If you are in no pain, and this gooey feeling continues, please see either your GP or go back to the dentist as you could have a little infection going on.Hope you get better soon.MarcyAnswerYes it is possible, but it is not good or normal! get to your dentist or doctor now!
