The importance of tools in early mans life was huge, (though, I am a creationist myself, I know enough about it.) The tools were used for everything that we usually do now adays with ease. Here are the main things (That I can think of at the moment) it was used for:
Food
Farming
Harvesting
Fire
Clothes
Medical Care
Everything in early mans life was made from something from our mother earth. These tools may seem easy to us today, but they were actually quite complex back then.
Thanks!

During the Stone Age, tools evolved from simple stone tools like hand axes to more specialized and complex tools made from bone, antler, and wood. This technological advancement contributed to the development of more efficient hunting, cooking, and crafting techniques that allowed early humans to adapt to their environment and improve their way of life.
Stone age knives were used for hunting, preparing food, cutting materials like wood and leather, and for protection. They were vital tools for survival and played a crucial role in everyday life for early humans.
Life in the Old Stone Age (Paleolithic) was characterized by hunter-gatherer societies, simple tools, nomadic lifestyles, and cave dwellings. In contrast, the New Stone Age (Neolithic) saw the emergence of agriculture, settled communities, more advanced tools and pottery, and the domestication of animals. The shift towards agriculture in the Neolithic period led to more complex societies and the development of permanent settlements.
We know about the Stone Age way of life through archaeological evidence such as tools, artifacts, cave paintings, and human remains. By studying these artifacts and sites, archaeologists can piece together how early humans lived, hunted, gathered food, and interacted with their environment during the Stone Age.
The Stone Age was named so because of the prominent use of stone tools by ancient human societies during this period. Archaeologists and historians have observed that stone tools were the primary implements used by our ancestors for hunting, gathering, and various other activities. This era marked a significant technological advancement in human history, as stone tool production and usage were central to daily life during this time.

Stone tools found in China have been evaluated for the time of their use and have been placed in the range of 1,3 million years ago. The use of metal tools coinsided with the implementation of agriculture circa 4000 BCE.

Technology (most humans definition)-Must have wires, electronics, and other gizmos and weird things. Technology (real definition)-Make's life easier or solves practical problems. Life in the first years of humans stone tools and sharp sticks made life easier. Hope this helped.
Civilization emerged during the new stone age, also known as the Neolithic period. This era is characterized by the development of agriculture, settled communities, and the use of polished stone tools. The old stone age, or Paleolithic period, predates the rise of civilization and was marked by the use of simple stone tools and a hunter-gatherer way of life.
