Friction is the force that makes it possible to stop a car - a friction between wheels and road surface is a stopping force there. Also, friction is necessary for maneuvering - if the wheels slipped, you wouldn't be able to make a turn.

Without friction, cars cannot turn or stop and causes cars to simply drift all around. Snow reduces friction, which is why there are often accidents on the road since it is hard to turn or stop.

Frcition is important because without it you cannot move! when you walk that is friction, and if there was no friction, it'd be impossible to do anything!

Why do you need road safety?

Most often, accidents happen as a result of a road user's negligence or lack of awareness about road safety. As a result, learning about road safety is just as important as learning other survival basics.

How has advances in crash barriers and road surface technology helped road safety?

The crash barriers have been made stronger which stops the car going through them. The road surface makes more friction on the road.

Why are brakes so important in a car?

Why driving on a road requaries fricition?

Driving on a road requires friction or else your car or automobile will skid across the road and you will never be able to stop your car from moving. Friction is very important to our daily lives even though we may not even notice it.

What is the mening of friction?

Two examples of the role that friction has in car safety?

I only have one idea. When you are driving the distance it takes to stop depends on the road surface. E.g if you are driving on a gravel road you have a more likely chance of skidding because the gravel is not a smooth surface. So on asphalt you have more friction.

What conditions would affect friction and road safety?

something that stops and object from movementexample:there is friction on the road . when the road is slippery your car eventually has to stop and what makes you car stop is friction.
