Yes! After an epic duel in Sozin's Comet/Avatar Aang, Aang (in the Avatar state) pins Ozai to the ground using earth bending. Instead of killing him, though, he uses energy bending to take away Ozai's firebending. Later, we see Ozai imprisoned in a Fire nation cell.

∙ 13y agoFrom information about Avatar: The Legend of Korra, we know that Aang and Katara have a son, Tenzin. Since this is a kids' show, it's safe to assume that they eventually did get married. And Tenzin teaches the next avatar airbending. So There are THREE airbenders.

This shows last episode was about killing?
Technically, The last episode of Avatar the Last Airbender was about not killing. Through out the entire show, the goal was to stop the fire lord. Everyone thought that the only way to stop his was to kill him. Aang does not want to kill anybody, so the turtlelion shows Aang how to energy bend. In the end, Aang does not kill the Fire Lord, but just takes his bending away. So in a way, the last episode was about killing.
