They receive presents for their birthdays, Christmas, children day and sometimes for their "Saint Day" if a children was named after a catholic saint, which have their own names on each calendar day.
Children's Day in Uruguay is officialy on January 6th but informaly that date is known by Uruguayans as Epiphany and one Sunday in August is commercialy Children's Day. Usualy parents and ,maybe another relative too, give their childrens presents on January 6th and also in August. Sometimes some adults also receive presents on January 6th but never in the Children's Day celebrated in August.
