In the Accounting style, the numbers are in black when negative, compared to having the option of having them red in Currency when they are negative.
Accounting format align all the currency symbols at the left edge of the cell while Currency format align all the currency symbols them next to the number. Accounting shows a dash for zero value, Currency shows an actual zero. I suppose is shows that 0 is in the middle. Positive numbers are on one side (the right) with bigger numbers being further away from 0. Negative numbers are on the other side of 0 (normally the left) and the more negative the numbers are, the further they are from 0
