Matt Dillon will host a new western re-enactment drama series on CBS. It was called "Gunsmoke 911" (1989). This 60-minute western series features re-enactments of bad cowboys in a saloon by calling 911 that the cowboy sheriff can get actual calls in the 1800s. Matt Dillon ended each show by him saying "I'm Matt Dillon, join us again next week for more true western on Gunsmoke... 911". The theme song for "Gunsmoke 911" (1989) was a mash-up of the Gunsmoke theme song mixed with "Rescue 911" theme song composed by Sonny Curtis. "Gunsmoke 911" was cancelled by CBS in 1996.

Thomas was totally out of place in the violent western Gangster saga- Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid. so it goes- when they say Batman theme- they mean, usually the Theme song.
