[Nerd moment initiating] You had to be specially chosen at a young age (4-6 years old). You would be taken away, cloned (They would leave the mentally retarded clone with your parents), and put into an intense training program that would push every limit you had. After that, they would chemically and physically augment you. Make your bones stronger than steel, make your reflexes 10x faster, etc. Only a few survive the augmentation, though ( The others would end up horribly disfigured) They would give you hormones that would make you look like you were 20 when actually you were only 11 or 12. After the augmentation, you would be put through more combat training. When it was all complete, you would be given your SPARTAN armor and would be put into MORE training.
