Slavery was different to what we associate with the word in modern times. The Bible generally accepted slavery as it was in that day, but not if it was associated with the sinful aspects that sometimes went along with it or if it abused people. The Bible instructed on how to properly treat slaves. The Bible condemns slavery such as is common in modern times, which enslaves people based on race and sinful practices. Slavery in the Bible times was primarily for the relief of economic hardship and usually instigated by the slave themselves. It was not OK to have slaves in the sense in which we have slaves today and have had over the past few centuries.
Slavery is a denial of human rights and was practised by the ancient Israelites and Jews, as much as by other nations of that time and indeed in more recent times. The Old Testament sets out some rules for treatment of Israelite slaves, even allowing for their manumission, but makes it clear that any gentile slaves could be denied even those limited rights. Apart from this, the Old Testament makes it clear that slavery was entirely acceptable.
Okay The Word Blessed appears 290 times in the whole Bible .... Not just just the Old Testament though.
The book of Psalms is found in the Old Testament.
There are 39 books in the Old Testament and 27 books in the New Testament (a total of 66 books in the Bible). There are 23,145 verses (KJV) in the Old Testament and 7,957 verses (KJV) in the New Testament. If all verses were equal, that would put the Old Testament at 74.4% and the New Testament at 25.6% of the entire Bible.
Psalms are in the old testament.
The Old Testament is the basis of Christianity.
The Old Testament stated that in Egypt, the Pharoh had slaves, also known as the isrealites, working on his pyrimids. These slaves were later saved by Moses.

After. Much after. The Egyptian king was during Moses time (old testament) and Jesus was in the New Testament.
The Old Testament.
Christianity had little to do with it; like all religions, it is easily suspended when what you desire to do does not equal what the religion desires you do. For slaves, certain interpretations of the Old Testament book Leviticus were perverted in order to justify the ownership of slaves; the same book was easily pervert to justify killing, not only of slaves but also of criminals and outcasts. It is still perverted today to justify homophobia and the murder of gay men and lesbians worldwide.
Abraham is first mentioned in the Old Testament.
My favorite chapter Proverbs in the Old Testament.
The book of Job can be found in the Old Testament.
Jesus was in the new testament and not the old testament.
