Farming is simply catching fish, getting coconuts, and eventually, collecting crops. To train them faster, go to the character's detail screen and click the box on the right side of the farm row.

∙ 12y agoYou get to level 2 in farming by getting tech points in the research area of the game and once you have accumulated egnoth tech points you will be able to afford it. If you have a more advanced villager in research they will earn more tech points than a less experienced scientist.

∙ 12y agoYou first have to buy level 2 or 3 farming. Then there will be a patch of soil near the small stream. Take your farmers to farm the land and it will grow crops in a little while.

If you are on level one on farming you can drop one of you adults in the ocean and they will try to fish. If they are successful you will have more food. Another way is mushrooms. Drop a child on a mushroom and they will pick it up and drop it in the food bin. If you are on level two farming can climb for coconuts. Drop an adult on one of the coconut trees. Watch them climb up get the coconut and drop it in the food bin. If you are on level three farming you can fish for algae eaters. They help when there is algae in the ocean.
