Yes, you can have pains in, around the vagina if pregnant, as well as menstrual-like cramps too....this is usually a sign of implantation, where the uterus and cervix stretch to accomodate the growing fetus. If you are worried though, go to your ob right away, as there could be something wrong. Better safe than sorry, though it is probably just normal.
