The Forbidden City is in Dongcheng, Beijing, China
It was the Forbidden City because most Chinese people were forbidden to enter it. The Emperor and those who worked with or around him were the only ones allowed in the Forbidden City. The area was basically the Imperial Palace and its surrounds. Wikipedia has more information, and a link is provided. You'll find that link below.

Chinese style dresses can often be found in vintage clothing stores or large Chinese supermarkets. If your city has a Chinese quarter then you are sure to find some there.
City Attorneys are appointed by each city's City Council. The best way to find the City Attorney for a particular city would be to contact the City Hall of the city you are interested in.
It obviously took a long time to build, so it's hard for historians and other people involved in the history of the Forbidden City, to be able to tell when exactly the construction started or finished. It was built between about 1406 and 1420 during the Ming Dynasty. Trying to find the year is hard enough, but my point is, there is no exact month, or day, for that matter, when the Forbidden City was built, because it was over such a large period of time that it's just hard to tell. Basically, you can't build a city in a day. Hope this helps :) CJ
