Your quseton is a little vague. Are you asking about an Air Rifle? with a wooden stock?
your air was made by crosman 126 is the Sears vendor code for Crosman Guns made under the J C Higgins brand were made between 1945 and 1962 Your Air gun is a Crosman and it may be the model 150 (pistol) .22 Cal. C02 Single shot. If this is correct and you need more information contact me on my message board and I will try to help you.
I believe you may want to check your numbers again. I think it may be 126 not 128. However if it is 126 then it was made by Crosman for Sears under the JC Higgins name. Your numbers don't seem to match anything I can find, but Crosman appears to be the original maker.
Which model. If the model number starts with 126 it was made by Crosman if it starts with 799 it was made by Daisy.
JC Higgins air rifles were made by Crosman and Daisy air gun. Models 126 were made by Crosman and models 799 were made by Daisy. If you have a model you are wondering about, post the model number and I will try to answer it. BUT give a description of the condition of the gun or rifle and if it is still working. The more information the better chance I will have at placing a value on it.
Your question is somewhat incomplete. Both Crosman and Daisy made air guns for Sears under the JC Higgins Brand name. Any model that started with 126.xxxxx was made by Crosman, any model that started with 799.xxxxx was made by Daisy. So to answer your question, Both companies made JC Higgins air rifles going back to the 20's in both calibers .177 and .22. If you post all the model numbers I MAY be able to tell you more about your air rifle. The numbers that come after 126 identify the exact Crosman model.
I only have some information for you. Any JC Higgins air pistol that begins with model 126 was made by Crosman air gun. Any model that starts with 799 was made by Daisy air gun. I suggest you click the Crosman link below and check the owners manuals to try to locate your pistol. Then re-post the Crosman model number along with the condition of the pistol to get an estimate of value.
JC Higgins sold over a dozen air rifles made by Daisy and Crosman. Which one are you asking about? I am asking about model # A302688 made in the 1950ies? All the Daisy models began with 799.xxxxx and all the Crosman models started with 126.xxxxx. I believe #A302688 is a serial number and not a model number. If you can locate either 126. or 799. on the rifle that will give more information as to the identify of who made it. Also please state the current condition of the rifle, is it still working? Is it in Poor, Fair, Good, Very Good or Excellent condition. The current condition determines much of the value. I do not have a listing of every model made for sears (JC HIggins) But I'll help you if I can. Here's an example. 126.19041 is really a Crosman V350 and in good condition is worth around $70 to $85. I would lean toward the $70 because it's a JC Higgins model and not as desirable as a Crosman model. Even though it's was made by Crosman.
It was made by Crosman air gun co. Any JC Higgins air gun that starts with model # 126 is a Crosman any model that starts with # 799 was made by Daisy. Your model is most likely a Crosman model 180. If I am correct about the Crosman model 180, then here is the link to the Owners manual (See Below) The model 180 was made between 1956-1967
If this is a BB gun, then there are numbers associated with it. They start with 799 or 126. I need these numbers to Identify who made the rifle and it will also Identify the model.
Check the model number. If it starts with 799. it was made by Daisy. If it starts with 126. it was made by Crosman. If it is a Crosman (126.) model then Crosman offers a locater service (Free) to locate repair shops that repair older Crosman airguns. If it's a Daisy (799) model then I suggest you contact Daisy and ask them.. See the two links below.
Two companies made BB guns for Sears under the JC Higgins name. One was Daisy. All of their model numbers started with 799. The other was Crosman and all their model numbers started with 126. So I don't recognize the numbers you have posted (89-10 1925 ) Also if you want more information you need to list the current condition of the Pistol. Is it still working? is it in Poor, Fair, Good, Very good or Excellent condition. Without more information it is not possible to give you an estimate.
My catalogue list the JC Higgins model 126.2831 as a Crosman model 180. I believe your 126.2830 is also the same model. (Crosman and Daisy made air guns for Sears.) If I am right then see the link below
