Ions are charged particles therefore ions must always have an unequal number of Protons and Electrons.

Since the amount of protons, in general, can't change, then the amount of charge is controlled by how much electrons are present. E.g., If there is 7 protons and 7 electrons, the charge is 0 as the protons cancelled out the electrons. However if it gained 3 electrons, it would be 7 protons and 10 electrons and therefore have a charge of -3 (Because electrons are negatively charged)

What is a negatively charged part of an atom?

Electrons are negatively charged sub atomic particles.

Why electron doesn't replel in an orbit?

Electron doesn't repel in an orbit however they are same charged particle, but same charged particles always repel. This is due Meson's theory of charged particles, he says electrons doesn't repel because they have one orbital different and another different.

Why is the net charge of the nucleus always positive?

The nucleus of an atom is made up of particles called neutrons and protons. Neutrons have no charge, but protons are positively charged. Therefore the only charge present is a positive one.

Neutral atom particles will always be in?

electrical equilibrium. This means that the number of positively charged protons in the atom's nucleus will be the the same as the number of negatively charged electrons in the atoms electron shells. The positive and negatives charges therefore balance out. If an atom gains or loses and electron, it ceases to be electrically neutral and becomes an "ion".

Ions always has an unequal number of?

Electrons.

Are atoms normally negatively charged?

No, atoms are not normally negatively charged. They are typically electrically neutral, meaning they have an equal number of protons (positively charged particles) and electrons (negatively charged particles). It is possible for atoms or molecules to gain or lose electrons and become positively or negatively charged, but this is not the usual state.

Does a scalene triangle always have angles of unequal measures?

YES.

Are ions and isotopes charged?

Not necessarily no, not strictly speaking, but it can be. An Ion is a charged particle. As an example SO42- is an ion. It is not a charged atom. It is a charged species formed from 5 atoms. A lone proton (H+ ) is a charged atom of hydrogen after it has been stripped of one electron. Cl- is an ion and in this case yes - it is a charged atom.

Is an acute triangle always a scalane traingle?

Only when it has 3 unequal acute angles and 3 unequal sides that it is then a scalene triangle.

When is an atom electrically charged?

a electically charged atom is also known as a eletron

What atomic particles always carry a negative charge?

The electron, muon and tau; the down quark, the strange quark, the bottom quark; and the W boson.

Is the nucleus in an atom positivly or negatively charged?

The nucleus only contains neutrons, which are neutral, and protons, which are positively charged. Therefore, the nucleus is positively charged. This is a good thing, since the positive charge is what attracts the negatively charged electrons, otherwise, the electrons would fly free.nucleus of an atom consists of protons and neutrons. protons are positively charged particles while neutrons are neutral. they do not carry any charge on them. however the no. of protons and neutrons remain the same. due to the presence of protons nucleus are always positively chargedthe nucleus contains protons and neutrons only. Since neutrons carry no charge and protons are positively charged, that's why the nucleus is positively charged.
